Natasha D. Felder
Trial Attorney
Natasha D. Felder is a trial attorney at VSCP LAW, where she brings a powerful blend of litigation experience, youth advocacy, and public service to the firm’s mission of securing justice for those harmed by negligence, abuse, and systemic failure. Her practice is rooted in a deep commitment to protecting vulnerable populations and ensuring accountability through strategic, compassionate legal representation.
Before joining VSCP LAW, Natasha served as Assistant General Counsel for The School District of Philadelphia, advising on legal compliance related to students with disabilities and representing the District in special education due process matters. Her work helped shape equitable educational policies and reinforced her dedication to civil rights and institutional reform.
Natasha’s legal career began at the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where she represented clients in both adult and juvenile courts. Her work combined trial advocacy, mitigation practice, and strategic litigation to ensure that every client received high-quality, compassionate representation. Her time at the Defender Association sharpened her courtroom skills and deepened her resolve to confront the inequities embedded in the criminal legal system.
Her commitment to youth justice was further amplified during her fellowship with the Youth Sentencing & Reentry Project (YSRP), where she served as a Stoneleigh Foundation Emerging Leader Fellow. There, she developed a best practices toolkit for attorneys representing girls facing adult charges—an innovative resource that addressed the unique challenges system-involved girls face and offered practical solutions for trauma-informed advocacy.
Natasha’s legal perspective is deeply informed by her years of direct service prior to entering law school. She worked as a Juvenile Probation Officer in Philadelphia Family Court, a Residential Treatment Counselor at The Village, and a Client Relations Liaison for Abraxas Youth & Family Services. These roles gave her firsthand insight into the challenges faced by system-involved youth and families, and continue to shape her empathetic, client-centered approach to legal practice.
In addition to her legal practice, Natasha is deeply committed to leadership and service within the Philadelphia community. She has held multiple roles with The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia, Inc., including two terms as Vice President of Administration, where she helped advance the organization’s mission to support Black lawyers and promote justice through advocacy and education. She also served on the Board of Directors for Rock to the Future, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through music-based learning and mentorship. In her board tenure, Natasha contributed as Recording Secretary and Co-Chair of the Nomination & Governance Committee, leading strategic initiatives to enhance board recruitment and modernize governance policies for long-term sustainability.
Natasha earned her Juris Doctor from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she was recognized with the Faculty Recognition Award and the Joseph R. Wenk Civil Justice Clinic Award. She holds a Master’s in Criminology from Saint Joseph’s University and a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Lincoln University, graduating summa cum laude. She is a proud Philadelphia native and has been recognized as a member of the 2025 National Black Lawyers Top 100.
Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania since 2017, Natasha brings to VSCP LAW a powerful blend of litigation experience, youth advocacy, and public service. Her work reflects the firm’s mission to deliver justice with integrity, empathy, and relentless determination.
