Peter A. Greiner is an accomplished trial attorney with more than 25 years of experience fighting for individuals and families who have suffered devastating injuries and losses due to the negligence and misconduct of others. With extensive courtroom experience and a record of securing multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements, Pete focuses his practice on medical malpractice, catastrophic personal injury, wrongful death, and complex civil litigation throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Pete has spent more than two decades concentrating on medical negligence litigation, representing patients and families harmed by preventable medical errors and failures in care. Before joining VSCP LAW, he led the Medical Malpractice Litigation Division at an established Philadelphia law firm for seven years, where he handled complex, high-stakes cases against physicians, hospitals, healthcare providers, and other institutional defendants.
Pete's approach to litigation is grounded in thorough preparation, strategic thinking, and a willingness to take difficult cases to trial. He understands that individuals and families confronting catastrophic injuries or the loss of a loved one face enormous physical, emotional, and financial challenges. He is committed to ensuring that their voices are heard and that those responsible for their injuries are held accountable.
Pete began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Philadelphia, serving in one of the nation's largest prosecutor's offices. There, he developed the courtroom skills, judgment, and trial instincts that have defined his career. His experience as a prosecutor continues to inform his approach to investigating cases, evaluating evidence, examining witnesses, and presenting compelling arguments to juries.
Throughout his career, Pete has handled a broad range of complex litigation. In addition to medical malpractice and catastrophic injury matters, he has represented clients in civil rights cases involving wrongful arrest and imprisonment, product liability claims, and other serious personal injury matters. He has also litigated significant commercial disputes and served as co-lead counsel for one of the main defendants in the historic Salvation Army Building Collapse litigation, which involved a five-month jury trial in Philadelphia.
Pete's diverse litigation background gives him a distinctive perspective on the courtroom. Having represented both plaintiffs and defendants in complex cases, he understands how opposing counsel and institutional defendants evaluate risk, prepare their defenses, and approach trial. He brings that insight to his advocacy for individuals and families seeking justice. A graduate of Colgate University and Villanova University School of Law, Pete has practiced in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has been recognized as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for personal injury litigation for the last four years.
When Pete is not at work, he enjoys watching and supporting the local Philly sports teams and spending time with his wife and two teenage sons.A graduate of Colgate University and Villanova University School of Law, Pete has practiced in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
